A smarter approach to safety
At Chevrolet, the safety of drivers and passengers is of high priority. That’s why we offer a comprehensive and innovative approach to safety aimed at helping you make your drive safer before, during and after a collision. It’s this “prevent, protect, respond” philosophy that drives Chevrolet in its efforts to deliver outstanding vehicle safety.
The best type of collision is the one that’s avoided entirely, which is why Chevrolet offers some of the most ingenious and proactive automotive safety technologies on the road today, like the StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System that’s standard on all Chevrolet vehicles and helps increase safety and driver confidence by automatically helping you control your vehicle in low-traction driving conditions.
While preventive safety technology can help you avoid a collision, Chevrolet also offers an array of protective safety features to help protect you and your passengers in the event of a crash. Strong vehicle structures help to absorb and dissipate crash impact energy and innovative airbag technologies add an extra degree of protection.
